One of the more popular vaudeville shows to tour Saskatchewan was the creation of Nicholas Lewchuk. Based in Canora, his show travelled the province during the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s, bringing "big city" entertainment to town halls, country schools, and community halls. At the time, it was the only Ukrainian travelling show in the province.
